I’ve been wearing leotards since my ballet days, so it’s funny to see how the bodysuit is a such a significant trend. You’ve probably this look model types (ahem, Kendall Jenner) and figured you can pull it off, but you’re wrong. There are so many ways to style “the bodysuit, do, ” and it works well on curvier and plus-sized body types too! The bodysuit creates a flattering figure silhouette and is comfortable styling, the only think you’ll have is a pair of jeans, wide-legged trousers or a skirt. These fashionable pieces help us dress without stress and should be your new wardrobe staple.
I found this affordable look without breaking the bank. Both my bodysuit and skirt are from nastygal.com and were on clearance for a total of $100! I chose a deep cut suit with flowy draping all around for more comfort around my bust and full waist. Pairing it with a long flowy, colorful skirt upgraded the elegance and I added the belt to accent my waist. The skirt is sold out but shop similar looks below.
Send me pictures of you styling your new bodysuit with #chataignestyle and have a romantic Valentine’s Day!
