EFFORTLESS BLUSH AND GREY

February 16, 2017

I’m having a bit of love affair with blush and grey at the moment. There’s something so sophisticated about that color combination. It’s understated cool and effortless blush and grey is the perfect transition for Spring. Get ready to see a lot more pink this season and grey is the perfect color for corporate attire to the cocktail hour.

I struggled all winter to find a great winter coat for my busty body type. Double breasted coats don’t really work for wide shoulders and big busty babes. Style tip: Look for semi-fitted, single breasted styles with deep V-necks and waterfall draping. Avoid high necklines, patch pockets and double breasted styles that draw the eye up! There is no greater find than a versatile polished midi-coat. I love this one from ASOS as it buttons below the bust and the  frames the body perfectly. It is also on sale for $80 (steal) and is the perfect winter jacket! The lace-up sweater look has been everywhere this winter and this blush color is a great transition to add to your wardrobe for Spring.

For years, I was strictly a skirt and dress girl, but I found my favorite pair of jeans. AG makes a slouchy skinny which is a hybrid of the boyfriend denim. Tucking my sweater in gives it a fun styling twist. I finished this look by adding texture with  a suede heel. Since, I don’t wear heels as often anymore I chose a lower pump for comfort. Check out my video on how to protect your shoes and your feet to keep them look fresh.

Needless to say effortless style without breaking the bank is easy to accomplish. More shoes and sweater shopping options after the pictures below.
